            The types of hair

There are three types of hair, synthetic, processed hair, and unprocessed hair

            Synthetic Hair

In general, Synthetic wigs may be the best choice if you have a limited budget, have little time or capacity to provide homecare and maintenance or if your hair loss is a temporary condition. The reason that sythetic hair is prevalent is due to the fact that it is easy to care for, reasonably priced, has a permanent color, easy to style, and highly available. Most synthetic wigs today are made with Kanekalon fiber that holds its shape and color. It is extremely heat sensitive and should not be exposed to hair dryers, curling irons, straightening irons or hot curlers.

            Human Hair (processed)

The major benefit of Human hair is that the hair can be colored and permed and it is just like wearing your own natural hair. Also, you can use a curling iron or electric rollers to curl the hair. Heat is not an issue with human hair as it is with synthetic. Human hair is generally more expensive and also lasts longer than synthetic. It doesn't matter how much hair cost at the hair supply store, it is still processed.
Unprocessed hair can be found online depending on the distributor

            Remi Hair

Remi hair is Human hair and can be categorized in the 'premium' segment, as far as hair quality is concerned. Remi hair is bundled in such a manner that the roots of the hair are on one side and the tip of the hair on the opposite side. Since all the hairs are placed in the same direction, the hairs remain undisturbed, making them more durable and long lasting. Remi hair is virgin hair processed to the desired color and texture. There are many different types of Remi hair. which all depends on the donor of the hair and their origin.

            Virgin Hair-

Virgin hair is considered "top of the line" hair and is very expensive. The term virgin hair refers to human hair that is still in its original state as harvested from the grower, and which has not been permed, colored, or chemically processed in any way. It is carefully cut from the grower with the cuticle going in the same direction and preserved to maximize its special quality. Harvesting the hair in this manner takes more time, which also contributes to the expensive price of this hair. Virgin hair can be of any ethnic origin.
